Description
ZQTL is my abbreviation for the word "Zoquitl". In Nahuatl – the language of the Mexicas (better known as Aztecs) – it means "clay", "loam" and "earth". This beautiful language is still spoken today in villages in Mexico. And as old as their words are, so old is the craft of forming practical and artistic things from clay, loam and earth. At the end of our life, we humans too will return to earth, from which something new is born – an eternal circle.
